Sergio Calderon (Owner/Founder)

Sergio holds a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Cal State University Northridge. He also has his CrossFit Level I certification. He brings a diverse background in fitness, rehabilitation, and community health, with experience working with individuals of all ages and abilities. He has spent several years working in a clinical setting working under the guidance of a physical therapist, where he developed a strong foundation in corrective movement, injury recovery, and safe program design. This experience allows him to create structured, adaptable fitness plans that prioritize both progress and long-term well-being. Sergio has also worked with a nonprofit organization providing travel training services low-income, elderly and special needs communities. Helping individuals build independence, confidence, and real-world mobility skills. He has a deep commitment to working with individuals in the special needs community, focusing on patience, adaptability, and creating a supportive environment where each person feels comfortable and capable. His approach is rooted in meeting clients where they are and helping them build strength, coordination, confidence, and independence at their own pace. Having personally experienced the rehabilitation process himself. Sergio brings a level of empathy and understanding that sets him apart. This perspective allows him to connect with clients in a meaningful way to guide them through challenges with both insight and encouragement. Originally from California, Sergio now lives in Middle Tennessee with his wife and three children. Outside of work, he enjoys fishing, staying active and spending quality time with his family.

Vince Alvarado

Vicente (Vince) is a kinesiology professional with over 10 years of experience in the health and fitness field, bringing a specialized focus to Valiant Individualized Training. With a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, Vicente has extensive experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum across a wide range of ages, from children to adults. His approach emphasizes individualized support, functional movement, and the development of independence to enhance overall quality of life.

Through a combination of fitness-based training, in-home support, and rehabilitation-focused care, Vicente delivers services that align with Valiant’s commitment to personalized, client-centered programming. Known for a patient and attentive approach, he is dedicated to helping each individual build confidence, improve daily function, and reach their full potential.

Jade Marx

Jade has over 25 years of experience in the fitness industry. Throughout her career, she has worked with individuals of all ages and abilities from children to clients in their 90’s, developing safe, effective, and highly personalized fitness programs. Her training style is conversational, encouraging, and structured, helping clients feel at ease while staying focused on meaningful, measurable progress. Whether the goal is improved mobility, greater independence, weight management, or simply feeling more confident in everyday movement Jade has experience with it all. She provides consistent guidance and supports every step of the way. Jade believes fitness is inclusive and everybody deserves the opportunity to experience strength, movement, and confidence in their own body.
